These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through our online store.

2. Products

We sell original illustrations reproduced as art prints, stickers, and other illustrated merchandise.

We make every effort to represent our products accurately through photographs, descriptions, and specifications.

Please note that printed colours may vary slightly from those displayed on your screen due to differences in monitor settings, printing processes, and materials.

Minor colour differences do not automatically constitute a defect. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights if a product does not conform to the agreement.

3. Prices and Payments

All prices displayed in our webshop are in euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed before checkout.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe and the payment methods available at checkout.

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation has been issued.

4. Order Processing

Most art prints are produced after an order has been placed.

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within three business days after payment has been confirmed.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Dutch public holidays.

Delivery times are additional to the processing time.

If an unexpected delay occurs, for example due to temporary stock shortages or production issues, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate solution, including a refund where applicable.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We ship from the Netherlands using PostNL or another suitable shipping provider.

Available destinations and shipping costs are displayed during checkout.

Delivery times depend on the destination and shipping provider. Any delivery estimates are indicative unless a specific delivery date has been agreed.

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures, which can affect delivery times.

We remain responsible for the delivery of goods in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. The risk of loss or damage generally passes to the consumer when the goods are received by the consumer or a person designated by them, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

6. International Orders, Customs and Import Fees

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, local taxes, and customs handling fees.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated during checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs.

Where import charges are collected directly from the recipient, the customer is responsible for paying them.

For destinations where import charges must be collected from the seller or prepaid, the applicable arrangements and any additional charges will be communicated before the order is completed.

Customers are responsible for checking applicable import restrictions in their country.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Consumers purchasing through our webshop generally have the legal right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact info@menzekwint.com or use the withdrawal method provided on our website.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you generally have another 14 days to return the goods.

Returned products should be packaged carefully to prevent damage during transport.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us, the direct cost of returning goods is the customer's responsibility, provided this has been clearly communicated before purchase.

We will refund the payments required by applicable law, including the standard outbound delivery costs where applicable, within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

The right of withdrawal may not apply to genuinely personalised or custom-made products produced to a customer's individual specifications, where the legal conditions for that exception are met.

Standard art prints produced after an order is placed are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal.

These provisions do not affect any additional statutory consumer rights.

8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at info@menzekwint.com.

Where possible, include your order number and photographs of the issue so that we can resolve it efficiently.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, such as replacement, repair, a price reduction, or a refund.

Your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all illustrations, artwork, designs, photographs, and other original content on this website are owned by Menze Kwint Illustrations Concept & Design or their respective rights holders.

Purchasing a physical print or other product does not transfer copyright or grant commercial reproduction rights.

Without prior written permission, customers may not reproduce, distribute, modify for commercial use, or commercially exploit our artwork, except where permitted by law.

10. Website Use

Visitors may browse this website and use its content for lawful personal purposes.

Unauthorised commercial reproduction of our website content or artwork is prohibited.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action against misuse of our intellectual property or website, in accordance with applicable law.

11. Privacy and Personal Data

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers, including Stripe.

12. Liability

We take reasonable care to ensure that our products, website information, and services meet applicable standards.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

We are not responsible for disruptions or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Where mandatory consumer protection rules in the customer's country of residence apply, these rules remain unaffected.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to an order is generally the version in effect when the order was placed.

Changes will not retroactively reduce a customer's statutory rights or alter existing purchase agreements without a valid legal basis.
